Mirror Theater Company’s Annual Fundraiser
Mirror Theater Company is raising funds for our second season!
Since our inception in November 2025, we have raised over $15,000, over $11,000 of which went directly to our artists through their stipends. We have spent over 60 hours in a rehearsal room, produced our first full length production of Much Ado About Nothing, employed 12 artists, and hosted 1 post show talk back. In less than a year, have sold over 400 tickets, selling out of our final weekend of Much Ado About Nothing.

Mirror Theater Company is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Mirror Theater Company must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Who We Are
To hold, as ‘twere the mirror up to nature
Mirror Theater Company was born from the idea that art, especially theater, has the ability to reflect ourselves and our world back to us. As William Shakespeare wrote in act III of Hamlet,
“The purpose of playing, whose end, both at the first and now, was and is to hold, as ‘twere, the mirror up to nature, to show virtue her feature, scorn her own image, and the very age and body of the time his form and pressure.”
At our best, we are kind, good, faithful, joyful, patient, and loving beings. But at our worst, envy and rage, hate and intolerance, pride and greed creep in and destroy our relationships and our souls. Theater is a chance to step back and gaze upon the mirror of society, whether it reflects a story similar or different to ours, and ask questions of what we see. What does this vengeance lead to? Can joy and adventure heal a relationship? How do we decide who to trust?
Just as in our society today, not every story has a happy ending, in fact many don’t. But what if we cultivated a spirit of curiosity when we take our seats in a theater. What if we allowed the story that unfolds before us to question our own story and our own choices.
